Tequila Mockingbird

Tequila and watermelon is a woefully underused combination.

INGREDIENTS IN THE TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD COCKTAIL 
Units

• 1 Jalapeño pepper slice
• 3 Watermelon cubes (about ⅓ cup)
• 2 ozSilver tequila
• Try it with Patrón Silver
• 3⁄4 ozFresh lime juice
• 3⁄4 ozAgave syrup

HOW TO MAKE THE TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD COCKTAIL

1. Muddle the jalapeño and watermelon in a shaker.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and ice, and shake until well-chilled.
3. Fine-strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
